Final Fantasy Creator to Focus More on Blockchain Activities
Square Enix, the creator behind Final fantasy, is setting their eyes on blockchain game development. In a letter titled “A New Year’s Letter from the President,” Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda emphasized that blockchain gaming is the center of the company’s investing strategy in the coming years.
Matsuda also gave an explanation about the crypto market’s roller coaster ride in 2021 and 2022, saying that new technologies often cause confusion but will eventually be accepted as a part of everyone’s day-to-day life. He also added that these emerging technologies will be catalysts of new businesses in the future.
Turkey to Launch Blockchain-based Digital Identity Application
Turkey is chalking out a strategy to utilize blockchain technology to verify the identity of Turkish citizens upon logging in for online public services. E-Devlet is the country’s digital government portal where citizens can access multiple public services.
According to Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay, blockchain-based technology will be used by Turkish citizens to access e-wallet applications. In addition, users can store their digital information on their mobile phones.
Oktay claimed that making online services more secure and accessible with blockchain is a revolution for e-government efforts.
